The Centre for European Education (CEE), an international education and research centre, was formally opened in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, in September 2007. The CEE is a joint institution run by the universities of Zagreb and Münster in the context of an European university cooperation. The Centre is based in Zagreb; the working languages are German, English and Croatian.
The CEE is supposed to become a centre of excellence for all issues relating to European education and training. A one-year Master's course in "Management and Counselling for European Education" will begin in the winter semester 2008/09. Applications may be submitted as of April 2008. Apart from the Croatian universities of Zagreb and Zadar and the German universities of Münster and Hagen, universities in Netherlands, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey are involved.
